Fish Tales and Pics

It was an impromptu decision, someone felt we needed a short getaway and Pengerang came to mind.
We've never been there but we're going to give it a shot anyway.
Pengerang is just a 45min boat ride from Pulau Ubin.
Upon clearing immigration, we found ourselves on the way to Ramunia Beach Resort, a 30 mins car ride.
The chalets at Ramunia Beach Resort were acceptable as we were prepared to rough it out.
There's air-conditioning and washing facilities.
We set about doing what we were there to do, recce the place for some good fishing spots.
Being in the midst of the moonsoon, the sea was rather choppy.
We searched out some rock structures and attempted casting our lures there.
Nothing to crow about, we blame it on the wrong time of the year.
My brother got 2 beautiful barramundi and the rest of us nothing!
We felt that the place is more suitable for surf-casting, probably thats what we'll do the next time we come up here.
On the whole its a nice refreshing weekend away Singapore.
Just have to remember to book the rooms and to place orders for food and drinks in advance :-)

No luck at these rock structures :-(

The moonsoon certainly made fishing more difficult.
